One of the most important victories in the Speaker fight last month was an agreement to establish a “Church-Style” Committee to investigate the Weaponization of the Federal Government. A committee like this is long overdo and a welcome sight. The original Church Committee unearthed quite a bit of disturbing revelations about these out of control agencies, hopefully this 2.0 version can do the same, and much much more.

The Weaponization “Church-Style” Committee Begins
The First Hearing of the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government kicked off this week.
We covered the establishment of this committee and some of its plans in our newsletter from January.
There are pretty high expectations for this committee, but they must deliver. Republicans were put back in power to conduct true oversight and reign in this corrupt and out of control Swamp.
Thankfully, many of the Republicans who have been the most serious in taking on the Swamp are seated on the committee. Representatives Gaetz, Massie, and Bishop give us a lot of hope that this committee will be focused and bold in their pursuit of the truth.
