Did they really think they could destroy Tucker with some hilarious leaked behind the scenes videos?

Tucker Leaks Backfire On Fox News And Media Matters
Starting this week, Media Matters (trash website) began releasing a series of video leaks of Tucker Carlson behind the scenes at Fox News.
If they thought any of these were going to be damaging for Tucker, they miscalculated big time. Every video released has “EXPOSED!!!” Tucker as being a normal guy who jokes around with staff.
If anything, they’re making him more popular, as the videos have gone even more viral on Right-Wing Twitter.
Ignore this Media Matters dork’s editorializing and watch the videos yourself.
Fox News (probably behind the leaks) must have realized this was only making people like Tucker more.
Another Tucker Carlson Leak this week came from the New York Times, which published an article about a private text message from Tucker Carlson to one of his producers.
Again, how the hell did someone think this would make Tucker look bad?
Pedro Gonzalez had a great take on this leaked text message.
Whoever is behind these leaks, they’re failing miserably if their goal was to hurt Tucker.
The main people hurting from Tucker Carlson’s firing are the people over at Fox News. Fox’s ratings have plummeted across the board since Tucker left.
Carlson’s finale a week ago drew 2.65 million viewers, according to Nielsen. The data shows that Brian Kilmeade’s substitute hosting gig for “Fox News Tonight” saw ratings of 2.59 million on Monday, 1.7 million on Tuesday, and 1.33 million on Wednesday, respectively. Last Wednesday, Carlson drew about 3 million viewers, Nielsen figures show.
But the 9 p.m. Fox News program hosted by Sean Hannity drew about 2.5 million on Monday, 2 million on Tuesday, and 1.7 million on Wednesday night, according to Nielsen. In comparison, Hannity drew about 2.6 million viewers the Wednesday a week before, the ratings show.
Laura Ingraham’s “The Ingraham Angle” drew 2.156 million on Wednesday, April 19. But this past Wednesday, two days after Carlson was confirmed gone, her show drew 1.55 million viewers.
Jesse Watters’ show also saw a decline. For Wednesday, it saw an audience of 1.558 million, but a week prior, it generated 2.1 million.
Megyn Kelly Reacting To The Numbers
But things may be about to get even worse for Fox.
AXIOS: Tucker Carlson Ready To Torch Fox News
Tucker Carlson is preparing to unleash allies to attack Fox News in an effort to bully the network into letting him work for — or start — a right-wing rival, sources close to him tell Axios.
Bryan Freedman, the high-powered Hollywood lawyer Carlson retained for the contract dispute, told Axios: "The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous."
Swing Away, Tucker
So what will Tucker’s next move be? We covered some of the possible options in our newsletter last week.
Based on the several reports this week, it sounds as though Tucker is looking to stay in media, and may even have some plans already in the works.
Axios has learned Carlson is busy plotting a media empire of his own.
Revolver News had a piece reacting to a report in the Washington Post that Tucker Carlson is looking into hosting one of the GOP Presidential Debates.
Carlson is by far the most popular voice among Republican voters, and he would raise the important questions about foreign policy, civil liberties, and national identity that the other networks would rather avoid.
We don’t know when Tucker will get out of his Fox contract or exactly what he will do next, but we could imagine this debate taking place on a Twitter stream as the company continues to upgrade its video platform, on a conservative network like NewsMax or OAN, or on a new platform if Tucker launches one.
Tucker would be an excellent choice to moderate one of the debates. He even gave us a preview of the type of questions he would press the candidates on.
Whatever Tucker’s next move is, there will be millions ready to tune in. Come back as soon as you can, Tucker.
Oh and Media Matters, go f*ck yourself.
