Here we will break down and expand on some of the topics we have discussed on Twitter during the week. July 4th Violence In America’s Cities & The Potential Impact Of Drug Use On Violence
America has atrophied considerably over the past decades and tragically that reality was on full display in the horrors Americans witnessed this year on the Fourth of July.
Two separate shootings happened on the Fourth of July at a parade in Highland Park, Illinois and a fireworks show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Two police officers were shot during the Philadelphia fireworks show and it resulted in utter chaos in the streets.
Thankfully, both officers survived. Officer Sergio Diggs suffered a grazing wound to the forehead and Deputy John Foster suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder. Both were treated and discharged from Jefferson University Hospital.
No arrests have been made and Philadelphia Police are unsure whether the shooting “was ricochet from celebratory gunfire” or “intentional."
Of course, the moron Mayor of Philadelphia Jim Kenney immediately seized on the opportunity to use the shooting to promote gun control, letting the mask slip on the Democrats’ real goal, no guns for Americans.
“So, you know, until Americans decide that they want to give up the guns and give up the opportunity to get guns, we’re going to have this problem.”
The Mayor continued, saying that if it were up to him only police officers would have guns, like Canada.
“I was in Canada two weeks ago and never thought about a gun. The only people I knew who had guns in Canada were police officers.”
McKinney added, “That’s the way it should be here.”
Philadelphia, despite having one of the Left’s own in Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner (one of the 75 Soros-backed prosecutors in the U.S.), ranks above the national average in overall crime and violent offenses. Philadelphia even set a record in 2021 with 559 people murdered, the most in the city’s history.
Which is why the Mayor of Philadelphia can’t wait to get the hell out of there.
You might remember Mayor Kenney from the viral video of him dancing like an idiot at the news that Philadelphia had become a “sanctuary city” for illegal aliens.
While the shooting in Philadelphia resulted in no fatalities, the shooting in Highland Park, Illinois tragically did.
On the morning of July 4th, Robert Crimo III, dressed in women’s clothing, opened fire at the Highland Park Fourth of July Parade. Crimo murdered six and wounded several others.
According to police, the Highland Park shooter was known to law enforcement.
Just like in the Philadelphia shooting, politicians seized on the opportunity to demand more gun control.
A 2 1/2 year old boy named Aiden McCarthy was left orphaned by the mass shooting. His grandfather says the young boy survived because his father heroically shielded him from the hail of bullets with his own body. A GoFundMe has been set up for the boy and has already raised over three million dollars.
Mass shootings have gone up over the years and as you have seen above, Democrats always respond with their typical demands for more gun control. What’s rarely discussed is the breakdown of our society and the rise in drug use, especially among America’s youth.
Tucker Carlson did a monologue on the Highland Park Shooting on Tuesday and discussed these issues.
As we saw, Crimo was still able to buy firearms legally despite being obviously mentally ill. Now, pause for a second. Why is that? Look at Robert, Bobby Crimo. Would you sell a gun to that guy? Does he seemed like a nutcase? Of course, he does. So, why didn't anyone raise an alarm?
Well, maybe because he didn't stand out. Maybe because there are a lot of young men in America who suddenly look and act a lot like this guy. It's not an attack. It's just true. Like Crimo, they inhabit a solitary fantasy world of social media, porn and video games. Their high on government-endorsed weed. "Smoke some more. It's good for you."
They're numbed by the endless psychotropic drugs that are handed out in every school in the country by crackpots posing as counselors and of course, they're angry. They know that their lives will not be better than their parents. They'll be worse. That's all but guaranteed. They know that. They're not that stupid and yet, the authorities in their lives, mostly women, never stops lecturing them about their so-called privilege. You're male. You're privileged. Imagine that. Try to imagine an unhealthier, unhappier life than that.
So, a lot of young men in America are going nuts. Are you surprised? And by the way, a shockingly large number of them have been prescribed psychotropic drugs by their doctors, SSRI or antidepressants and that would include quite a few mass shooters and keep in mind, again, these drugs are meant to prevent crazy behavior and yet there seems to be a connection.
Tucker Carlson highlighted how SSRIs were promised to make Americans “saner” and “happier.” But these drugs appear to not only be failing on that promise, but perhaps even making things worse.
Tucker Carlson discussed how much the pharmaceutical industry spends on advertising.
Now, how much is that? Well, to put it in some context, Pfizer spent more on advertising in 2020 than it did on research and development.
But it wasn't a bad decision. It was a great decision. Pfizer's revenue doubled last year to more than $81 billion.

Disarm the law-abiding. That's the first thing every authoritarian regime does, of course. Make sure the other side can't fight back.
Something has broken in America; you can see the decline everywhere. We’re not the same country. We’re not the same people. If America collapses, it will not be by the hand of an invading army. It will collapse like most empires do, on its own, weary of its own existence.
America’s Independence Day should be a day for celebrating our past, taking pride in our present and being optimistic for our future. Instead, politicians, professors and the mainstream media denigrate our past, sow chaos in our present and doom our future.
America’s past is not simply the past, it is your inheritance. It belongs to you. Do not let our past become fading memories that your grandchildren will never see.
We’ll conclude this section with an Independence Day quote we think about a lot. A quote from the great Teddy Roosevelt on our heritage and the duty we have in preserving it.

Biden’s American Energy Betrayal
On Wednesday, Reuters ran a story about a Biden Administration action that is insane even by their standards.
More than 5 million barrels of oil that were part of a historic U.S. emergency reserves release to lower domestic fuel prices were exported to Europe and Asia last month, according to data and sources, even as U.S. gasoline and diesel prices hit record highs.
Tucker Carlson called for Biden to be impeached and investigated for the move during his monologue on Wednesday.
As if this wasn’t bad enough, more information came out about Biden’s actions with the United States’ Strategic Petroleum Reserve courtesy of the Washington Free Beacon. The Washington Free Beacon reported that the Biden Administration had sold roughly a million barrels from the reserve to a Chinese state-controlled gas giant.
Biden's Energy Department in April announced the sale of 950,000 Strategic Petroleum Reserve barrels to Unipec, the trading arm of the China Petrochemical Corporation. That company, which is commonly known as Sinopec, is wholly owned by the Chinese government.
But it gets worse than that.
[Daniel] Turner also said the decision highlights the Biden family's "relationship with China." Biden's son, Hunter Biden, is tied to Sinopec. In 2015, a private equity firm he cofounded bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing.

The Washington Free Beacon highlighted Hunter’s history with the equity firm BHR Partners.
Biden is connected to Sinopec through BHR Partners, a private equity firm he cofounded in 2013. BHR bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing in 2015. Biden at one point owned a 10 percent stake in BHR Partners through his wholly owned firm, Skaneateles, LLC.
Biden was invested in BHR Partners when the company arranged a deal that allowed state-owned China Molybdenum to buy one of the world's largest supplies of cobalt, a precious metal used to make batteries for electric cars.
Hunter Biden’s lawyer claimed in a New York Times interview in December of last year that Hunter “no longer holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in either BHR or Skaneateles.”
However, nearly four months after that interview the Washington Examiner found that “Chinese and American business records continue to list Hunter Biden as a 10% owner of the Chinese government-linked investment firm BHR Partners.”
What’s the truth? Hard to say since the since the Biden Administration refuses to answer questions about Hunter Biden.

It’s not like the media has no idea where Hunter Biden is, see if you can spot Hunter Biden at the White House.
On Friday the White House was again asked during a Press Briefing about the Biden Administration’s actions with the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

These actions can’t simply be chalked up to incompetence. These people hate you, they want to humiliate you, and they want to loot and destroy America. Republicans are talking tough right now about looking into these actions, but it will be a betrayal of the American people if this is nothing more than talk. Impeachment should absolutely be pursued, as well as investigations.
Braindead Biden
Now onto a lighter topic. Well, maybe. Joe Biden on Friday gave a Pro-Abortion speech. And typical for Biden, he managed to make a fool of himself.
Immediately, Biden’s groveling White House minions tried desperately to claim that despite what your lying ears might have heard, what Biden actually said was “let me repeat that line.”
As you can listen here, her claim is complete BS.
Which resulted with her getting ratioed into oblivion.
That didn’t stop the Biden WH from adding “let me repeat the line” to the WH transcript.
Some coping libs on Twitter needed it slowed down a bit for them.
Memes came pouring in on Twitter comparing Biden to Ron Burgundy.

It wasn’t the only gaffe during Biden’s speech.
And of course Biden had to invoke God in his Pro-Abortion Get Out To Vote Speech.

Biden’s Border Crisis & Abbott’s Action/Inaction
The Border just keeps getting worse and worse. Breitbart on Tuesday reported that “Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 192,000 migrants who illegally crossed from Mexico in June.” Anyone with eyes can see that this is an invasion, except for Governor Abbott, who has refused to make a formal declaration of invasion so far. This despite the historic legal declaration made by a judge in Texas this week.
